Jeff Buckley: Read the Music

Like his father, songwriter Tim Buckley, Jeff Buckley had a voice of amazing range. His full-length debut album, Grace, brought him to national attention, making several "best of" lists for 1994. While recording his follow-up album in 1997, he tragically drowned during a swim in the Mississippi River in Memphis.
